I’m Oliver Thompson, and I’m delighted to have you here on my little corner of the web, dedicated to the beauty and intricacies of modern lawns. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, I’ve been tending to and studying lawns for over two decades.
A bit about myself: I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Landscape Horticulture and later pursued a specialisation in Turfgrass Management. My journey began in the rolling hills of Yorkshire, where I grew up surrounded by the quintessential British countryside. This sparked a lifelong passion for green spaces, leading me to work with some of the UK’s most distinguished gardens and estates.
