Fertilization and Care

Non uniform fertilizer can also cause yellow coloration. In this case of some the lawn area will get the required amount of fertilizer while some are under or over fertilized. Grass Varieties Naturally Yellow

Some undesirable grasses are pale green or yellowish. There is also a chance the poor coloration is due to heavy infestation of weed. Poa annua (annual bluegrass) is pale green even if grown under suitable and good conditions.

  • Zoysia grass (Zoysia spp.) of zones 6 through 9 U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness
